Locale internamente curato e recentemente rivisitato. Esterno semplice e informale. Cibo ricercato a km 0. Per iniziare abbiamo provato il piatto Mandy e un bis di cjarsons di erbe locali e ravioli ai porcini raccolti dallo chef. Come dolce, torta alle zucchine, noci e cannella e la cheesecake al limone. Tutto ottimo e rigorosamente fatto in casa! La cameriera Barbara ci ha illustrato tutti i piatti con grande passione, professionalità e amore. Grazie per questa bella esperienza, ci torneremo sicuramente.
Un locale che da fuori può non invogliare, all'interno semplice e pulito. Ma la cucina ottima, con prodotti freschi, verdure da loro coltivate. Piatti tipici locali e stagionali. La descrizione accurata e appassionata da parte del personale fa voglia di provare tutte le portate. Piatti speciali, dall'antipasto al dolce. Prezzo ottimo. Bravi ragazzi!
Really a jewel... Well worth making a trip up from the valley bottom to eat here. Primi were all superb, the dolci too. Excellent reception, family run place. These are the kinds of beautiful places you discover by accident and remember forever. Please go and try it, you certainly won't regret it, and places like this that are off the beaten track need our support to keep going and keep a heart beating in such villages.
Premetto che recensisco di rado e solo in caso di esperienze molto positive. Eravamo di passaggio alla ricerca di un locale dove fare poco più che un aperitivo, dopo giornate e serate impegnative sul piano alimentare (ma come si mangia bene in Friuli!?). Dopo una mattinata alle belle terme di Arta, siamo approdati qui. Locale semplice ma grazioso e,fuori, tavoli e panche per stare un po' al sole. Ci siamo sistemati e abbiamo ordinato un tagliere misto da dividere e due calici di prosecco. Salumi locali buoni e genuini ma ancora più buoni i sottoli fatti da loro con funghi porcini e le loro verdure dell'orto: abbondanti e spettacolari! La simpaticissima ragazza che ci ha servito ci ha raccontato (nel vero senso della parola) i loro dolci (altrove non avremmo preso più nulla): li avremmo presi tutti, ma abbiamo optato per il tiramisù (specialità che ha origine proprio in Friuli). Anche questo davvero speciale. Il conto è stato ugualmente positivo. Ci eravamo ripromessi di tornare a cena ma ci siamo spostati troppo e non avevamo previsto di tornare indietro. Peccato: sono certa che avremmo fatto la migliore cena della nostra breve vacanza. Torneremo. Spero!
It doesn’t look like much from the outside but the food is fantastic! I had cheese filled purple potato squares as a starter and polenta with fried cheese as main course. Washed down with pretty good red wine. Good prices and service. Highly recommended.
